Things to know about the Peel region.
Situated 45 minutes south of Perth, Peel has always been a hot spot for first-rate market garden produce and a utopia for keen fishermen. The largest city in the area is lively Mandurah, undoubtedly one of Australia’s most exciting and attractive regional centres. With several major river systems, the Peel Inlet and the Indian Ocean, there is an abundance of crabs, prawns and fish year round in the area. It is home to stunning beaches, pristine bushland and several of the State’s most charming and historic early settler townships. The food and wine in the area is second to none.
