City Farm Organic Growers Market

Perth City Farm is unique to Perth and the whole of Western Australia as the ONLY market that has exclusively certified Organic & Biodynamic stall holders. The focus is to support local organic & biodynamic growers by making their outstanding produce available to the Perth community - in doing so, they are reducing their carbon footprint by lowering food miles and supporting sustainable farming practices.
As well as their customers having the benefit of buying grower direct, Perth City Farm provides an organic retail market stall to supplement what is not available from their farmers. This is sourced from certified wholesalers of Organic and Biodynamic produce for the convenience of ‘one stop’ shopping for customers.

Kalamunda Farmers' Market

Venue: Kalamunda Central Court
Every Sunday morning: 8.00am - 12 noon
Kalamunda Farmers' Markets are held every Sunday morning in Central Court Kalamunda, the centre of the Perth Hills Wine region of Western Australia and only 30 minutes from the city centre.
Chef and feature demonstrations are held every week using local produce and buskers entertain shoppers. Local cafes and speciality stores open to serve shoppers during market hours. Plenty of parking is available.
In season there is a wide range of fruit and vegetables as well as seafood, jams, chutneys, herbs, seedlings and olive oil.
Local wineries offer tastings and sell wines.

Enjoy the unique market in the hills.
On the first Saturday of every month the Rotary Club of Kalamunda hold a market with 130 to 150 stalls offering a range of crafts, plants, produce and paintings.
Kalamunda Village is 20 kilometres to the east of Perth City set in the Darling Ranges overlooking the coastal plain. The town serves the surrounding rural areas and is home to many commuters who enjoy the country atmosphere.
The Village Market, held in the Town Square for some years, attracts a good range of vendors from far and wide. The Central Mall adjoining Kalamunda Central Shopping Centre, together with the gardens, the Rotunda and the Kalamunda Amateur Dramatic Society Theatre blend to make a traditional village market atmosphere.
Local musicians busk in the market area and KCRFM, the local radion station provides interviews, promotions and music.

The Boyup Brook Country Music Festival is Western Australia’s premier Country Music Festival. Five big days of music, fun and laughter.
This event is particularly important to Western Australia as it is the biggest and most successful country music festival.
The festival attracts all ages, providing a friendly atmosphere of entertainment and a great weekend away.
With public support the event has grown from a one day festival to a five day refreshingly authentic country music extravaganza. This brings the grass roots of country music to Boyup Brook, where followers can experience a blend of national/international artists and original artists from Western Australia in a friendly, country setting. Then, winding down on the Sunday with a traditional Bush Poets' Breakfast and great music.

Manjimup Farmers' Markets are held on the third Saturday of each month in The Old Packing Shed in Rose Street, Manjimup, the centre of the Southern Forest Region in the south west of Western Australia. From February to April there is an extra market on the first Saturday of each month and also on Easter Saturday.
In season there is for sale: + avocados; + stone fruit; + tree ripened apples; + pears; + persimmons; + cherries + berries + nuts (chestnuts, walnuts, peanuts and hazelnuts); + Marron; + jams; + sauces; + vinegars; + chutneys; + olive oil; + lavender plants and products; + venison; + pates and sausages.
For special seasonal markets the local wineries offer tastings and sell wines.

Donnybrook Apple Festival
Date: 7 & 8 April 2012
Venue: Donnybrook
The Donnybrook Apple Festival is held every two years over the Easter weekend with the next festival being held on Saturday 7 & Sunday 8 April 2012. This has been a long tradition not only focusing on the Apple industry but many other products such as wines produced in the Donnybrook region.
Donnybrook Apple Festival is unique in that it stages a ball where a group of entrants are competing for the title of "Apple Ambassador ", formerly known as an Apple Queen. The Donnybrook community is immersed in this tradition,
Lavishly decorated floats carry the entrants through the town centre and on to the main festival grounds.
The parade is held on both Saturday and Sunday and are well attended by visitors from near and far. Free fresh fruit is distributed along the parade route by the float participants.
