Margaret River Farmers Market |

Venue: Old Hospital Complex, Tunbridge Street
.....In Margaret River..... on the 4th Saturday of every month from September to May, locals and visitors alike gather together for a feast of freshness..... at the Margaret River Farmers' Markets.
The markets feature food and wine stalls manned by the producers themselves.....It's a perfect opportunity to re-stock your supplies and to match the South West's freshest produce with wine releases form several local boutique wineries.
The Margaret River Farmers' Markets include an array of fresh produce, organic fruit and vegetables, herbs and plants. There are also gourmet breads, smoked meats, jams and marmalade, preserves, award winning olive oils, chilli sauces, cheese, honey, cookies, chutneys, dukkahs and wine tasting.
A delicious breakfast is available all morning. Topped with a locally roasted coffee.... it's a magical way to begin a Margaret River Saturday! A regular feature is our free raffle prize of a hamper of local products drawn at 11am each market day.
The Margaret River Farmers' Markets are 8am to 12pm at the historic old hospital site....which is on the corner of Tunbridge and Farrelly Streets.

On the first Saturday of every month the Rotary Club of Kalamunda hold a market with 130 to 150 stalls offering a range of crafts, plants, produce and paintings.
Kalamunda Village is 20 kilometres to the east of Perth City set in the Darling Ranges overlooking the coastal plain. The town serves the surrounding rural areas and is home to many commuters who enjoy the country atmosphere.
The Village Market, held in the Town Square for some years, attracts a good range of vendors from far and wide. The Central Mall adjoining Kalamunda Central Shopping Centre, together with the gardens, the Rotunda and the Kalamunda Amateur Dramatic Society Theatre blend to make a traditional village market atmosphere.
Local musicians busk in the market area and KCRFM, the local radion station provides interviews, promotions and music.

Manjimup Cherry Harmony Festival |

Venue: Manjimup
Organisers say the sixth annual Manjimup Cherry Harmony Festival promises to be the best yet.
The town centre is closed for traffic and a variety of stalls and free activities are set up, including bouncy castles, a bucking bull, miniature train rides and face painting for the kids, local solo artists and bands, fashion parades, log chopping, farmers markets, a wine tasting tent and the all-important cherry pip spitting contest.

Manjimup Farmers' Markets are held on the third Saturday of each month in The Old Packing Shed in Rose Street, Manjimup, the centre of the Southern Forest Region in the south west of Western Australia. From February to April there is an extra market on the first Saturday of each month and also on Easter Saturday.
In season there is for sale: + avocados; + stone fruit; + tree ripened apples; + pears; + persimmons; + cherries + berries + nuts (chestnuts, walnuts, peanuts and hazelnuts); + Marron; + jams; + sauces; + vinegars; + chutneys; + olive oil; + lavender plants and products; + venison; + pates and sausages.
For special seasonal markets the local wineries offer tastings and sell wines.

The Channel Seven Crab Fest is the largest festival of the year and celebrates Mandurah’s vibrant coastal lifestyle through the iconic Blue Manna Crab.
Located at the heart of Mandurah on the famous Eastern Foreshore, this year’s festival program will be bursting with flavour and entertainment featuring exciting crab and seafood cuisine, a delicious array of wines, including local Peel Region wines and a lively festival atmosphere.

Since inception six years ago, the Perth Chilli Festival has clearly stuck a chord with gastronomes everywhere. It has proved to be a mecca for chilli lovers in particular, however non-chilli lovers are also well catered fro as most stall holders also carry non-chilli versions of their specialities. It also attracted the strong support of the Healthway “Go for two fruit five vegetables” message.

Harvey Harvest Festival |

Experience the drama, colour and excitement of the South West’s only Italian Festival, Sunday 15 March 2009. The event which is in its tenth year is a celebration of the cultural significance for the Harvey region and its rich farming roots. This year the Festival will showcase a mixture of on stage entertainment and street theatre and a variety of local and WA Entertainment.
The event features a wide variety of activities for kids of all ages including, rides, amusements, street theatre and barnyard animals.
The festival will also feature some of the Southwest’s most prized produce and market stalls, ranging from hand made home wares and jewellery to local olives, jams and chutneys.

Hills Heartbeat Festival |

Venue: 86 Admiral Road, Bedfordale
The Hills Heartbeat Festival is a celebration of the hills lifestyle. Hosted by Armadale Christian College, the festival includes other venues in the area with galleries, winery, Pioneer Village and organic growers.
Follow the Heartbeat from Armadale in your car or catch the free shuttle bus from Armadale railway station.
There will be two stages of entertainment, over 250 pieces of art, lots of craft stalls selling genuine home made goods, a silent auction and much more. You can even abseil from the ten metre level of the highest purpose built tower in the region.
Have fun at the side show, have your face painted or join in on the free children's activities.
On both mornings you can enjoy Pancakes in the Park with a gold coin donation, enjoy a discovery walk in Bungendore Park and view the reptile display.

Free family fun at the Pemberton Autumn Festival. This festival will be bigger and better with a great day out for the whole family.
Entertainment throughout the day, rides, local events, culinary delights specialising in marron are available during the day. Food stalls with chips, hamburgers, sausages and kebabs. Beer and soft drinks will also be available.
Competitions include guess the marron weight, tug of war and the great Australian pie bake off. A garden show will be presented plus an organic products display. Market day at the Mill Hall, antique and collectors fair, suitcase circus, arty umbrellas singers and dancers and don’t forget the town crier.

The markets feature food and wine stalls manned by the producers themselves.....It's a perfect opportunity to re-stock your supplies and to match the South West's freshest produce with wine releases form several local boutique wineries.
The Margaret River Farmers' Markets include an array of fresh produce, organic fruit and vegetables, herbs and plants. There are also gourmet breads, smoked meats, jams and marmalade, preserves, award winning olive oils, chilli sauces, cheese, honey, cookies, chutneys, dukkahs and wine tasting.
A delicious breakfast is available all morning. Topped with a locally roasted coffee.... it's a magical way to begin a Margaret River Saturday! A regular feature is our free raffle prize of a hamper of local products drawn at 11am each market day.
The Margaret River Farmers' Markets are 8am to 12pm at the historic old hospital site....which is on the corner of Tunbridge and Farrelly Streets.

Kalamunda Village is 20 kilometres to the east of Perth City set in the Darling Ranges overlooking the coastal plain. The town serves the surrounding rural areas and is home to many commuters who enjoy the country atmosphere.
The Village Market, held in the Town Square for some years, attracts a good range of vendors from far and wide. The Central Mall adjoining Kalamunda Central Shopping Centre, together with the gardens, the Rotunda and the Kalamunda Amateur Dramatic Society Theatre blend to make a traditional village market atmosphere.
Local musicians busk in the market area and KCRFM, the local radion station provides interviews, promotions and music.

Balingup Medieval Carnivale |

Once again the small country village will explode into colour as the Balingup Medieval Carnivale relives times well gone but not forgotten. Chat with the King, sample some of the local wines, purchase from the many market stalls, tuck into the tasty food available, or maybe even kiss a Knight, what ever you do come along dress in costume or you’ll feel out of place. It is a huge dress-up carnivale. Leave your troubles behind and join the frivolity with heaps of entertainment all weekend long.
Re-enactment Groups, Demonstrators, Dancers, Singers, Musicians, and so much more will be roaming the carnivale. There are a few extra events in the planning that will make 2009 Balingup Medieval Carnivale an event not to be missed.
Delicious country style food and local wines are available throughout the weekend.
We look forward to seeing you having a Fun Medieval Time in Balingup.
