Kalamunda Farmers' Market |
Date: Every Sunday 2009
Venue: Kalamunda Central Court
Every Sunday morning: 8.00am - 12 noon
Kalamunda Farmers' Markets are held every Sunday morning in Central Court Kalamunda, the centre of the Perth Hills Wine region of Western Australia and only 30 minutes from the city centre.
Chef and feature demonstrations are held every week using local produce and buskers entertain shoppers. Local cafes and speciality stores open to serve shoppers during market hours. Plenty of parking is available.
In season there is a wide range of fruit and vegetables as well as seafood, jams, chutneys, herbs, seedlings and olive oil.
Local wineries offer tastings and sell wines.

Manjimup Farmers Market |

Venue: The Shed, Rose Street, Manjimup
3rd Saturday of every month, 8.00am - 12 noon
Manjimup Farmers' Markets are held on the third Saturday of each month in The Old Packing Shed in Rose Street, Manjimup, the centre of the Southern Forest Region in the south west of Western Australia. From February to April there is an extra market on the first Saturday of each month and also on Easter Saturday.
In season there is for sale: + avocados; + stone fruit; + tree ripened apples; + pears; + persimmons; + cherries + berries + nuts (chestnuts, walnuts, peanuts and hazelnuts); + Marron; + jams; + sauces; + vinegars; + chutneys; + olive oil; + lavender plants and products; + venison; + pates and sausages.
For special seasonal markets the local wineries offer tastings and sell wines.

Margaret River Farmers Market |

.....In Margaret River..... on the 4th Saturday of every month from September to May, locals and visitors alike gather together for a feast of freshness..... at the Margaret River Farmers' Markets.
The markets feature food and wine stalls manned by the producers themselves.....It's a perfect opportunity to re-stock your supplies and to match the South West's freshest produce with wine releases form several local boutique wineries.
The Margaret River Farmers' Markets include an array of fresh produce, organic fruit and vegetables, herbs and plants. There are also gourmet breads, smoked meats, jams and marmalade, preserves, award winning olive oils, chilli sauces, cheese, honey, cookies, chutneys, dukkahs and wine tasting.
A delicious breakfast is available all morning. Topped with a locally roasted coffee.... it's a magical way to begin a Margaret River Saturday! A regular feature is our free raffle prize of a hamper of local products drawn at 11am each market day.
The Margaret River Farmers' Markets are 8am to 12pm at the historic old hospital site....which is on the corner of Tunbridge and Farrelly Streets.

Every fourth Sunday of the month (except December when it is the third Sunday).

Donnybrook Apple Festival |

The Donnybrook Apple Festival is held every two years over the Easter weekend with the next festival being held on Saturday 3 & Sunday 4rd April 2010. The next Festival will be the 53nd Apple Festival. This has been a long tradition not only focusing on the Apple industry but many other products such as wines produced in the Donnybrook region.
Donnybrook Apple Festival is unique in that it stages a ball where a group of entrants are competing for the title of "Apple Ambassador ", formerly known as an Apple Queen. The Donnybrook community is immersed in this tradition,
Lavishly decorated floats carry the entrants through the town centre and on to the main festival grounds.
The parade is held on both Saturday and Sunday and are well attended by visitors from near and far. Free fresh fruit is distributed along the parade route by the float participants.

Margaret River Wine Region Festival |

The Margaret River Wine Region Festival presented by Channel 9 / WIN TV has an exciting program of events.
On Thursday 8 April 2010, Vintage Vibe Street Fiesta and Wine Barrel Cart Race will take place on the main street of Margaret River. On Friday night the Cabernet Cabaret will entertain you whilst sampling some of the region’s finest wines. On Saturday 10 April 2010 you can graze your way through over 50 of the regions best wineries and foodies at the Vintage Festival at Leeuwin Estate Amphitheatre, followed by the Vintage Family Concert at the same venue on Sunday 11 April 2010.
